LIVE IN COLOR STUDIO - COMMERCIAL
THE STORY
In February 2025, I partnered Risha Allen, owner of Live In Color Studio, a local nail salon in the Bay Area, and Tajianna Okechukwu to produce a "Superbowl / sports-themed” commercial that highlighted the vibrant creativity and talent coming from the Bay Area. This project was beautifully crafted with the intent to promote the portfolio of fellow producers, creators, and local brands, with a focus on Live in Color Studio. The ad showcases the salon's dynamic energy and artistry, celebrating both the craft of nail design and the diverse local talent in the area. Live in Color Studio hopes to be able to generate more community engagement, job opportunities, and space for creative freedom.
The Live In Color Studio commercial was awarded a Bronze 2025 Telly Award in the Beauty, Fashion and Shopping for Local TV category.

RECKLESS BEHAVIOR THE SERIES - DRAMA SERIES
THE STORY
"Reckless Behavior The Series," written by Michaela P. Shelton, is a compelling drama that delves into the complexities of young adulthood, exploring themes of love, friendship, and the consequences of impulsive decisions. With its engaging storyline and relatable characters, the series has garnered a dedicated following and critical acclaim. I initially joined the series portraying Kamariyah Porter during Season 2 and later increased my capacity on the show as a Producer, Director, and Assistant Director.
During the production of Season 3, I co-led production team, managing cast and crew, and produce eight 30-minute episodes for Tubi streaming platform.
Implemented efficient production systems, anticipated and resolved production challenges while finding creative solutions, enhanced communication and improved overall efficiency by 30% and completed the film production timeline earlier than expected.
Directed two episodes providing, on-set creative oversight, overseeing production budgets and expenses, location scouting, scheduling, shot lists/storyboards, casting, wardrobe, and more.
Established new partnerships to secure funding and distribution agreements with streaming platforms, while also orchestrating dynamic marketing and merchandising campaigns to elevate audience engagement.

BLACK UNSCRIPTED - DOCUMENTARY SHORT
THE FILM
I had the pleasure of working with Rachel Hardy on the short documentary film, Black Unscripted, as a creative consultant helping to flesh out the initial idea, coordinate and arrange the interview set, and design the official poster submitted to film festivals.
The short documentary film delves into blackness and racial identity by exploring how a limited, stereotypical view of blackness has scarred an entire community. Narrated through the personal stories of five individuals, we navigate painful, but positive discussions challenging all of us to break the cycle of placing limitations on blackness. Watch the trailer below.
Black Unscripted has shown at the following film festivals:
2020 Indianapolis Black Film Festival, Best Overall Documentary Winner
2020 San Francisco Black Film Festival
2020 BronzeLens Film Festival
2020 International Black Film Festival
2020 Social Justice Now Film Festival by American Black Film Festival
